Within the framework of a collaboration between the Faculty of Architecture at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and the Embassy of Spain in Turkey (Embajada de España en Turquía), the seminar entitled “Architecture and Museography” will focus on the interdisciplinary intersection of architecture and museography.  

The seminar will feature presentations by architects and academics currently working at the intersection of museum architecture in Spain, addressing topics such as heritage, conservation, restoration/renovation, archaeology, culture, historicity/contemporaneity, and tectonics/details. Speakers include Juan Pablo Rodríguez Frade, Prof. Antonio Cruz Villalón, and Prof. Dr. Luis Fernández-Galiano.

The event will take place on Thursday, 25 September 2025, from 11:30 to 13:30, in Hall 126 at ITU Faculty of Architecture, Taşkışla Campus.  The seminar, coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda Uz and Res. Assist. Çağdaş Kaya from ITU Faculty of Architecture, will be conducted in English and is open to all.
